Does Power Come From The Barrel Of A Gun?

Does Power Come only from the barrel of a gun...?

When was the last time humanity saw someone give Peace a Chance?

When a man takes a gun...he does not take the gun to make peace...he takes the gun to make war...

Why does he take the gun...?

Is it to love?

Is it to spread kindness...?

But he takes it...only to terrorise...to wound...to maim...to kill...

Does the man who fires the gun know the pain...

Does he know...how it much it hurts...to lose a loved one...

He fires the gun that leaves another broken heart on this earth...another mother who has lost her son...a lady who has lost her love...a girl has lost her brother...and a baby has lost its dad...

Why do we hate our fellow men...why do we take up the gun to make peace...Is real power only in the barrel of a gun...? Does not love hold its sway on us men anymore...

Another family torn..another broken home...another tear shed for another man who bites the dust...

Now when is it going to be your turn?

Why dont we stop making this beautiful world into a killing field...let us stop...NOW.

Very poetic, but very unrealistic.

Firing a gun is NOT an easy thing to do, exceptt if yuour lfie is under threat. Not in the physical sense, but in the mental sense.

AT any rate, power does NOT come from the gun. Did Hitler become powerful by running around pointing his gun at people? Nope, he was an orator. He did start pointing his gun around later though. If one has a gun, there's always another with a bigger/better gun/skill.

and well what would the president of US of A do if he has a gun stuck to his head by a madman...at least till the mad man is overpowered...the pressie is gonna give in to the power of the gun and do as he is being told...so now you tell me where the power comes from..?
