My Seasonal Sickness...
Well this is about my seasonal sickness...it is F1 and boy oh boy...i am so excited or what...
It is gonna start off with the first race in Baharin on the 12th and i am feeling the vibes already...New rules and new regulations...it is bound to be fun....
The cars have been down graded from 3.2 litre engine to 2.4 litre engine and this means the engine speed has been reduced by as much as 200 bhps(brake horse powers..if you did not know...)..and the new engine regulations means the outcome of the race depends more on driver's skills than the speed and team strategy...
As for Mr and Mrs F1 Fans sitting and watching the F1 action in your new plasma tv you would not see much of a difference but then these are some of the technical specs...
And there's more...the F1 organisers have taken a U-turn with the rule that the team cannot change tyres...which means....the drivers no longer need to hit the home stretch with bruised, blistered tyres to earn team points...so there will be more exciting tyre changes and the pit stops are bound to be power packed and super exciting...
Ferrari has still got Schumi and that is a bright spot for me though he failed to perform last season....New faces and new teams and so it is gonna be very interesting and Ayrton Senna will be so excited to see the outcome of this season...and he would wish to battle it out in San Marino and he would now love to take the checkered flag with the likes of Schumi and Villeneuve and Coulthard following him...
Narain Karthikeyan is out of GP but this should not dampen the spirits of Indian fans cos his team was doing good anyway.Jordan was not doing well...and Jaguar...the majestic green car has now become Red Bull but i still love the Green Jag burning some rubber.
The qualifying rounds are also gonna be so interesting with a 60 Minute qualifier which would decide who among the 22 would take the pole position.
Silverstone is pretty close to where i stay so dont be surprised to see me on TV on the 11th of June..the race day here in Silverstone...the home of British Motor racing....Hey there Bernie Ecclestone here i come....
And F1 does not mean i am gonna forget WRC or Daytona NASCAR...i will still keep my eyes open and keep my ears tuned on what is happening there...but then F1 will still be at the top of my list of favourites...
So lets brace ourselves for some adrenalin rush, burning rubber and some high octane action cos F1 cannot get any better than this...
Vrooooooooom........
